| Battery operated Lantern Robot
Originally produced in 1955 by the Masudaya toy company of Japan. During operation, this 8 inch tall remote controlled robot walks forward on it's eccentric pin-wheels, swinging it's illuminated lantern all the way. Lantern robot also blows smoke from it's mouth. The smoke action is actually produced from talcum powder. There is a re-fillable reservoir in the top of it's head for the talc. Original Lantern robots can sell for as much as $4000 or more, if you can find an original that is. These include a very nice reproduction original type box!
