UNIQUE JASPERS AND AGATES We are thrilled to offer you these rare and unique Jaspers and Agates that have been in our personal collection for many years. Here is a bit of information to help you learn about these rare stones. I offer them for healing, display or for cutting.

Firstly Agates are a very large group of minerals composed mainly of silica. The Agates that we have are from the northwestern part of the USA and pretty much unique to the area. The Plume Agates are very special because they offer colorful red and yellow colored mineral inclusions that resemble ‘feathery’ plumes. There is also Moss agate that looks like there is tiny moss sprays inside the colorful agate. Another popular agate which is from Oregon is called Polka Dot Agate because of the round bright spots that are speckled across the stone.

Jaspers are a variety of microcrystalline quartz. There are five Rare Jaspers that are famous and from the United States of America. One is called Bruneau and the other is called Willow Creek Jasper, both from the state of Idaho. Bruneau Jasper is found in the Bruneau River Canyon area near the town of Bruneau, Idaho, this one offers tans, reds and brown in an orbicular pattern, some resemble flying saucers, very cool! . Willow Creek Jasper is from Eagle, Idaho and is one of my favorites for the wonderful pastel pinks, tans and cream landscape scenes they display.

Then there is the sacred Imperial Jasper from Guadalajara Mexico, what pretty green and cream coloring with patterns that look like hills in the distance, a wonderful choice for visualization.

Cannot forget the Morrison Ranch Jasper or Morrisonite as it is called, found in the Owyhee River Canyon near Jordan Valley, Oregon. This is another one of my favorite jaspers; I love the definition between color and pattern, simply wonderful!

These choice and rare Jaspers are created by the presence of a particular pattern that results during the stones formation process. Many times when you find the above stone in the field, there maybe NO pattern or unique features to the stone, it is rare and hard to find these perfect examples of picture jasper, thus the fame and glory!

	# 10/8 BRUNEAU JASPER VERY RARE- New! Wow! Stunning! Incredible! A gorgeous slice of Bruneau Jasper offering a wonderful circular pattern and deep color, this is what you want for Bruneau jasper. Very rare and sought after, one of the finer jaspers on the market. This one offers the circular eye pattern or an infinite passageway to what lies beyond this reality. Allows one to see the inter-connectedness between all worlds! What else can I say about this unique Jasper? Measures 3 inches across. $175.00
	# 10/9 DESCHUTES PICTURE JASPER- New! Original Old Stock Deschutes Picture Jasper from Oregon. Deschutes is one of the most sought after of the picture jaspers due to the colors and patterns it offers. This material was dug in the 50's and 60's near Prineville, Oregon. This beautiful material is getting harder to come by. What glorious dark brown patterns on lovely tan back ground. Incredible! Measures 6 by 2 inches. $175.00
Click for larger image	# 10/10 MEXICAN FLAME AGATE- New! A fantastic slice of Mexican Flame Agate which was mined in Chihuahua, Mexico in the late 50's. This one is transparent with pastel pinks at the base which grows into maroon plumes and then into reddish orange flames at the top! Truly amazing! Measures 5 by 1 inches. $40.00
	# 10/11 OREGON GOLDEN PLUME AGATE- New! The state of Oregon is host to many fine agates and jaspers. Here is a lovely example of the rare Golden Plume Agate, offering pastel creams, reds and white coloring. Feathery-like inclusions resemble Plumes. Quite large at 7 inches, this slab would look wonderful on a mantle or altar. Measures 7 by 4 inches and polished. Love it! $95.00
	# 10/12 MORRISONITE JASPER- New! OH MY! What a choice polished slab of the rare Morrisonite Jasper. One of the most highly prized Jaspers of them all! Morrisonite displays wild patterns and colors, this one looks as if lightening is bouncing off the ground. Check out the inner circles which ad further magic and intrigue to this lovely specimen. I have to say that it was hard for me to give this one up, however it is time for someone else to be the guardian. Measures 4 by 3 inches. $350.00
	# 10/13 OWYHEE JASPER- New! Here is a very sweet 'end cut chunk' of the rare Owyee Canyon Picture Jasper. Check out the unique patterns and coloring. Very dramatic with great contrast. Another one of the finer Oregon Jaspers that are no longer being mined. Old stock, my collection for over 15 years. Stunning! Measures 5 by 2 by 2 inches deep. 	# 10/16 POLKA DOT AGATE- New! Polka Dot Agate is one of my favorite Oregon agates, it offers many different patterns some of which resemble the beach with the ocean in the back ground.
