REALGAR

Metaphysical Properties- Realgar is a very unique and rare gemstone which is used mainly to bring energy into the body. It is also used to increase sexuality and fertility. Being it is metallic, I feel that is can work as a mirror to teach us about ourselves on a very deep level. It will reflect our true-selves, both the positive and the negative.

Numerology- Realgar vibrates to the number 8. The number 8 has to do with power and abundance. Many people with the number 8 in their name are famous and have an easy time in life.

Gemological Properties- Realgar is its own mineral species belonging to the monoclinic crystal system. The chemical composition is AsS and the refractive index lies at 2.58. It is a very heavy crystal offering a specific gravity of 3.56. The hardness is very soft; a mere 1.5-2 on the moes scale of hardness. This crystal can be hard to find in nice large specimens. The main sources are China, Romania, Switzerland and California, USA.

RHODOCHROSITE

Metaphysical Properties- Rhodochrosite is thought of as a spiritual body gemstone, it offers a higher frequency of energy which enters and moves throughout our spiritual bodies. It is thought of as a stone for the New Age referred to as the New Age Trinity stone because of the three colors within its range. Gold for wisdom, orange for creativity and pink for love. When you are drawn to Rhodochrosite it means that you are ready to learn more about your own spirituality and work to bring this energy into your heart. In a crystal healing layout, place your Rhodochrosite between your heart and solar plexus center, it will act as a bridge to bring light into these centers.

Gemological Properties- Rhodochrosite is its own mineral species belonging to the trigonal crystal system. The chemical composition is MnCO3. Usually seen as translucent to opaque pink, often in banded patterns with layers or areas of white, gray, brown or yellow; also occurs in transparent pink to dark red. The refractive index is 1.597-1.817 and the specific gravity is 3.60. The hardness is 3.5-4.5 on the moes scale. The major sources are Argentina, Germany, Romania, South Africa and the USA.

RUBY

Metaphysical Properties- Ruby is said to be one of the stones used in the breast plate of the high priest. Ruby is a gemstone that is used to promote energy throughout the entire energetic system. Being it is very stimulating, Ruby is a good choice for those who need to increase their energy, great for chronic fatigue and other ailments dealing with listlessness. Some say that Ruby is a stone of protection, especially against sorrow, distress and bad dreams. Others feel it is a great stone to help women with child bearing and to balance the menses. The Rubies that I offer are a tabular formation, many with record keepers. These are records are thought to be information from the times of Lemuria. Some feel that these records are from the teachings of the ancient masters in India.

Numerology- Ruby vibrates to the number 3. Joy and creativity.

Gemological Properties- Ruby is a variety of the mineral species Corundum; it belongs to the trigonal crystal system and offers a chemical composition of Al2O3. Ruby is seen in transparent to opaque gemstones with a orangy red to purplish red color. some stones do offer phenomena: asterism and chatoyancy or stars and cats eyes. The refractive index is 1.762-1.777 and the specific gravity is 4.00. The cause of color may be due to chromium, with possible modification of color by iron and titanium. The hardness is a 9 on the moes scale of hardness, only a Diamond is harder, being a 10. The major sources are Thailand, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Afghanistan and India.

RHYOLITE

Metaphysical Properties- Rhyolite is one of those stones in which not much has been written. Being this stone vibrates under the number 4 which is about hard work and structure, I feel that Rhyolite will assist one in working towards their goals in a proficient manner. This stone will not allow you to simply give up on your goals or life dreams, it will push you forward to meet them. In order for us to meet our goals, we sometimes have to change in order for the progress to take place. Many of us do not like to leave the comfort of change, use Rhyolite to help you realize that in order to grow we sometimes have to change.
Use Rhyolite during meditation to help you remember why you are here at this time, it facilitates the mental state. As previously stated, this particular Rhyolite is from the state of Oregon, it is actually the matrix of the Oregon Opal. Oregon Opal forms in what is called thunder eggs, the Opal forms in the center of the egg, the outer rock or matrix is the Rhyolite. Being this is the case, I feel the energy of the Oregon Opal compliments the energy of the Rhyolite. Oregon Opal is about remembering your life's purpose and path, Rhyolite pushes you towards your purpose and path, perfect combination!

Gemological Properties- Rhyolite is a fine grained volcanic rock. It is chemically identical to granite and is composed essentially of feldspar and quartz. The colors are brown and gray, sometimes with streaks or mottles. The Rhyolite we are speaking of here form as thunder eggs through volcanic activity.
