Natural Quartz Crystal Balls are usually expensive but well worth the price when they are put to use.  Most Crystal Balls are not completely clear as one is led to believe; many of them display fantastic swirls, rainbows, and veils that resemble whispy clouds.  Each Crystal Ball is unique and has its own individual personality and are to be used with the best of intentions.

These are truly incredible tools in many ways.  The most common uses of the Quartz Crystal Ball are in meditation, healing, and crystal gazing (scrying).  Crystal balls are said to produce visions when stared at for any length of time.  The scientific explanation for this is that light reflected from a polished surface eventually exhausts the eye's sensitive optic nerve so that it stops transmitting an external image.  Without an exterior impression to fix itself on, the eye then begins responding to stimuli coming from the mind of the gazer.

Natural Quartz Crystal Balls are used in Feng Shui to redirect energy or 'chi' so that it flows properly throughout your home.  Some like to use Crystal Balls in a group setting because it helps to round out the rough edges of the meeting allowing for smooth communication.   Another wonderful use of the crystal ball is for massage, this is by far my favorite way of utilizing the healing energies.  My husband Bill has lower back pain which he has tried to heal by several methods; the chiropractor, stretching exercises, etc.  But nothing seems to take away the sharp pain he experiences.  One day I was massaging his lower back but I was not getting deep enough into the areas of the muscle which ached.  It then donned on me to try the Crystal Ball.  The round shape of the Crystal Ball allowed me to deeply get into the areas that needed work.  I simply began to press and rub his back with the ball while visualizing the pain melting away.  After a 10 minute treatment Bill felt much better, he was really surprised as to how the ball was able to relieve his back pain.

Here is an exercise that will teach you how to use the Crystal Ball for 'scrying/gazing' purposes.  Use this exercise to gain knowledge about yourself as well as to enhance your psychic abilities. Place your Crystal ball on a black cloth, hold the cloth and the ball in both hands. Rest your hands easily on a table so that the ball rests on the cloth, the cloth covering your hands. Do this in a darkened room lit only by candlelight. Stare at the reflection of the Crystal ball. You may feel a throbbing in your third eye area, this is good, try not to pay attention to it and relax; Don't stare too hard, just look in a relaxed manner so the eyes do not tear. Do this for 20-30 minutes for each meditation.  Eventually, you can ask specific questions and gaze into the ball and a picture will appear in the form of an answer.  Write in a journal about your experiences.

I would like to share with you an exercise to Open your Heart....You will be using the Fire Quartz crystal for this exercise. Upon receiving your Fire Quartz crystal you should cleanse it (clear it of any unwanted energies) and dedicate the crystal to a specific purpose.  (We covered these two steps in our previous newsletters).  Now it is time to bond with your crystal.  Simply sit and hold it in both hands.  As you are holding it ask yourself things like; "Does it feel cool or warm to the touch?", "Is the crystal smooth or rough?", "What colors do  I see?", etc.  To become familiar with the crystal is the goal here.  You can spend as much time as you feel is necessary for this bonding process.  When you feel you are ready, place the crystal in your left hand.  (the left hand is more receptive than the right.)  Set your intention.  The intention for this exercise is to 'open your heart'.  Holding the crystal in your left hand make your intention heard! State out loud "I desire my heart to be open".  Say this mantra while feeling it in every cell of your body.  Say it over and over making sure you are very clear in your intent; the Universe does not understand mumbled words!!  Keep this up until your intuition tells you to stop.  It is great if you can do this exercise everyday, remember if you are dedicated and open to healing the Universe will listen.

Gemological Properties-  Natural Rutile is rarely encountered as a gemstone, for the material is very rarely transparent, and even if it were so, the color -red, brown, or black - is too dark to produce attractive gemstones.  Accicular or hair-like crystals are common and when these are enclosed in rock crystal give rise to rutilated quartz., or as it is sometimes called-Venus Hair Stone.  Rutile is Titanium Dioxide (TIO2) and has a hardness of 6 on the Moe's Hardness scale.  The refractive index is 2.62, the specific gravity is 4.20.

Smoky Quartz balances the root chakra and is generally thought of as a 'grounding' stone. But, it does much more than that!!  It is very useful for treating stress, depression, fear and panic.  It stimulates the desire for life and survival while giving the courage to make changes and break bad habits that no longer serve you.  Smoky Quartz is a great meditation stone, aiding the alpha state; use if for hypnosis also.  Some find this crystal to be a powerful protection stone, simply carry it with you when you feel you are in need of 'extra' protection. Or program a large crystal to protect your home while you are away, carry one with you in your car during travel to give you protection.

Smoky Quartz is one of the most beautiful and powerful varieties of quartz.  It exhibits a grounding element which allows us to stay focused on the earthplane.   When Smoky Quartz attracts you, it means that you would like to stay focused on the task at hand.  It is able to focus energy for distribution throughout the entire energetic system.

When choosing a Smoky Quartz crystal it is important to keep in mind that much of this material is deliberately irradiated to turn it the smoky color.  Usually they irradiate clear quartz to turn it smoky, because Smoky Quartz is a fairly uncommon form of Quartz.  Be suspicious of crystals that look very black.  Most 'natural' smoky Quartz is more of a light to medium brown in color and transparent.  The crystals that I am offering are guaranteed to be natural.  Many of them are also doubly terminated, meaning they have terminations at both ends.  These special crystals are used to open a line of energy between two or more chakras.  Simply place a D.T. between two chakras for this effect.

This keynote of freedom and boundlessness is reflected in other ways with this stone too. The many facets may represent the many facets and dimensions of the human experience.  Possibly, the many choices, paths and ideas we possess.  The brilliance and flash of each facet sets us into ‘moments’.  Each flicker is a moment either in the past or maybe even the future.  Some facets appear rounded while others are straight and linear.  The roundish facets represent our emotional body; the linear ones represent the mental body.

The tiny indentations, which occur in groupings on particular faces, represent wisdom.  I like to think of these markings as scars which each of us exhibit.  It shows strength, tenacity, and survival.  Wisdom- with age comes wisdom.

Another odd energy this crystal exhibits is its ability to appear colorless and then smoky gray depending on the light and how you look at them.   The smoky grey color is very unusual for it is hardly there.  Very strange.  Maybe this grey color is actually silver and represents the silver cord to the divine.  If so, it would allow us to communicate with other souls that are not worldly in nature.

The first chakra/dimension is the black or mother nature. It represents within its essence the core individuality of all that is, all that we are. Within the first level, all chakras/dimensional are expressed at the core elemental essences of Self. These are the core "building blocks" upon which all else expressed combines in one way or another to create the variety of form and perspective. Within your light bodies the chakra, energy, chi layer are expressions of the Mother level within Self. Another example would be the grid system which flows from the 2nd (brown) aspect (chakra, overtone) of the Mother (1st dimension, black chakra). Electrical energy flows from the 7th (gold) overtone of the Mother level. Microwaves emanate from the ninth (third eye) overtone of the Mother level.

The second chakra/dimension/overtone level is the brown level. This level corresponds to the white circle in the Taoist yin-yang symbol. It is a polarized expression of the Father (white). From this level, the second layer of organization/perspective is expressed. Within your light body, you would consider the "physical" body as of this level. All organs and other body aspects are vibrationally 2nd dimensional expressions. What you would call "physicality" is from your current perspective of the brown, 2nd level. Plants and animals are aspects of self expressing at this level in these forms. Micro organisms emanate from the black, first overtone of the 2nd level; insects from the 3rd, grass from the second. Crystals with brown vibrations would connect at some level and way to this level of expression. Consciousness of this level might be referred to as "body" (physical) perspective consciousness.

The third level, chakra/dimension/overtone corresponds to the root chakra and is red. At this level of organization, the individual perspective expressed would be considered your ego, your personality. This level of identity would be the sum of the other two expressed as a singularity. Thus, John, Mary, Joe are 3rd level expressions of self, expressing as the sum of 1st, and 2nd levels. There are also similar identities at the 1st and 2nd levels. The 2nd level expression would be bodyness. (Astral language)

The forth level, dimension/overtone/chakra, is orange and expresses the individual perspective expanding into its vertical and horizontal linkages of self and expressing self as the sum of these linked relational perspectives. Vertical linkage would correspond to connecting to other (greater) Self operating at other dimensional levels. Horizontal linkage refers to relationships with other aspects of self on your plane (crystals, plants, animals, micro organisms, etc...) which help to define identity. Thus fourth dimensional consciousness refers to sensing self as the collective expression of other aspects of horizontal and vertical self unified in self identity.

The fifth level, dimension/overtone/chakra, is yellow and expresses as an expansion of conscious identity into Earth Self. At this level of linkage, the collective expression of Selfless at all levels of Earth planes between 1 and 5 unite with all other beings and create a unified collective expression. From this perspective, all individualized expressions of the lower levels are unified and see self as the unity of these collective expressions. Briefly, green is the expansion of the yellow collective into the Solar collective perspective, and gold (7) is the link into all Solar systems within the Galaxy.

Thus, when we identify ourselves as a yellow orange Ancient One perspective, we are operating at the level of self awareness (Ancient attribute) at the level of yellow (collective perspective of the group) and orange (the collective awareness of Earth self identity). We help one to bridge the gap between expanded individual identity and group identity.

There are certain "symptoms" which express within your lives as a result of separation from the Us which is you. Difficulties in relating to others, not only life in human form, but all forms of life. The difficulty would be sourced in the inability to connect to that level of collective identity within which all are perceived as connected. The ability to integrate our perspective and activate this perspective within yourself may not be completely available to all at this time on your plane. There are many different timing activation's for individuals in place on your plane, so while one may be drawn to us, the activation of us within you may not occur at this time.
