LITHIUM QUARTZ
Metaphysical Properties- Naisha
Ashian in her "The Book of Stones" say that Lithium Quartz is a heart healing
stone, which works by alleviating stress, calming frayed nerves and allowing
one to relax. This naturally opens one to approach the world from
a more balanced heart space. Excellent for children to use at the end of
the day in order to become calm and centered before dreamtime. It
assists in adults with peaceful sleep too. In meditative practice this
crystal allows one to open and balance the heart while accessing higher
states of consciousness. After utilizing the crystal's initial soothing

Gemological Properties-Quartz
is a group of mineral species which is from the hexagonal (trigonal) crystal
system. The chemical composition is SIO2, lithium inclusions, refractive
index is 1.544-1.553 with a specific gravity of 2.66.
LIFESTONES
The shown stones were discovered December 2004 in
a remote place of Central Africa. They are from the mineralogical structure

Gemological Properties-
Labradorite is a mineral species in the plagioclase series of the feldspar
group. The crystal system is triclinic and the chemical composition
varies between NaSlSi3O8 and CaAl2Si2O8. The refractive index is
1.559-1.547 and offers a specific gravity of 2.70. The hardness is
a 6-6.5. The major sources are Finland, Canada and the US.
LAPIS LAZULI
Metaphysical Properties-
6th chakra (third eye) Changes negative views of reality to positive views.
Cleanses the mental body while releasing old karmic patterns. Lapis
facilitates deep meditation and can be used to journey back into past lives.
Lapis Lazuli is a very spiritual stone, which can also be used in ceremonies.
It allows this spiritual energy to be absorbed into your aura. When
working with Lapis, please keep in mind that it is a very deeply acting
stone, some people have felt dizzy or overwhelmed by its energy.

Gemological Properties-
Lapis is a rock composed primarily of Lazurite, Calcite and Pyrite.
The chemical composition varies depending on mineral content. The
refractive index runs around 1.50, and sometimes 1.67, due to Calcite.
The specific gravity is 2.75 and the hardness is a 5-6 on the Moe's Scale.
The major sources are Afghanistan, Chile, and the USSR.
LARIMAR
Metaphysical Properties-
Opens creativity in the throat area, helps soul mates to find one another
while healing negative karma between soul mates and lovers. Allows
for open communication between soul mates. This is an exciting
healing stone which I feel should be worked with on a continual basis.
I find Larimar to not only aid communication in relationships, but it also
gives me a strong sense of peace. It is very calming, which
is no surprise, since Larimar is from the Caribbean. Brings tranquility
of water/sea and air to heart and mind. Soothes and uplifts hurt, fear,
depression, pain of life, changes with love. Self-expression, patience,
acceptingness, simplicity, creativity, artwork. With red spots: helps gentle
people be assertive. Cools, draws out inflammation, fevers, sunburn heat.
Especially helps the creativity and throat CTR. (shoulder, thyroid, nose).
Pleasantly uplifts the heart and eases stress.
Numerology- Larimar
vibrates to the master number 55. Has to do with accessing Higher
Mind (55) and channeling it through your individuality (1). 55 is a direct
line to the mind of God or as some call it, the akashic records. It is
calling upon you to responsibly harness and direct the knowledge that is
attainable now. There are also changes taking place and many choices ahead.
Responsible choices must be made and the route to these is through the
Higher Mind. Melody describes it as: The extension of occurrences to facilitate
knowledge with ease is advanced such that approach to each event/condition/experience

Gemological Properties-
Pectolite (trade name Larimar) is a mineral species. It belongs to
the triclinic crystal system and offers a chemical composition of NaCa20si3O8(OH).
The refractive index is 1.599-1.628 with a specific gravity of 2.81.
It is a fairly soft stone being a 4.5-5. It is mainly found in the
Dominican Republic, however reports have been made from Canada and the
US.
LEPIDOLITE
Metaphysical Properties- Connects heart and
crown to bring spiritual understanding to why we suffer. Allows us
to understand our place in life and the Universal plan. Brings acceptance,
calm and trust in life. For many, this stone heals fear at its source
in this or past lifetimes. It will help you to contact spirit guides, angels,
and other entities you wish to converse with. It is an awesome stone to
help one discover the spirit in everyday life. Plus, the feel of Lepidolite
Mica is very soothing, just rubbing my fingers over this stone, makes me
feel whole and that I am one with the Universe. Lepidolite is also used
for balancing the heart & head and helping to lift the feeling of emotional
depression (the more lavender colour). The more pink version can
also help in dealing with the emotional denial which can happen when the
mental body takes over and tries to intellectually deal with the loss rather
than emotionally feel it. Lepidolite seems to be one of the most
common stones for depression. Pink Lepidolite works best if the mental
body is more dominant and the heart needs to be brought into balance with
that. Lavender or Purplish Lepidolite is better if someone is very emotional
and the aim is to bring the mental body more into play.

abundance.
Gemological Properties-
Lepidolite offers a chemical composition of KLi2(OH,F)2(ALSi4O10) whew!!
Lepidolite is usually seen in scaly aggregates, sometimes with individual
crystals no more than 1/4 inch. It belongs to the monoclinic crystal
system. The refractive index runs 1.530, specific gravity is 2.8.
A very soft stone, being a 2.5 on the Moe's Scale. It is fairly abundant,
the major sources being California, USA, Madagascar and Brazil.
LIBYAN GLASS
Metaphysical Properties- Increase sales and
profits in your business. Creates good luck, aids learning, especially
spiritual pursuits. Learn your duties in this life time and 'know'
what you should do now. Excellent for bringing people together, increases
new ideas and meeting of the minds. Use to balance the nervous system,
treatment of tumors and growths. Activates the Thymus and builds
the immune system.

Gemological Properties-Libyan
Desert Glass is a natural glass composed of nearly pure silica (98 wt %).
The formation of this glass, because of its unusual composition has for
long been considered as mysterious. Chemical analyses show that the glass
is locally enriched in meteoritic elements, with typical chondritic proportions.
The only explanation for these observations is that Libyan Desert Glass
results from a meteorite impact on a silica-rich target.
