There are those who can feel
the shifts and the energy and know that the Earth is no longer willing
to support what we have done to Her. Through the use of this stone,
whether it be on a personal level or whether it be used to heal geomagnetic
deviations in the Earth's electromagnetic field, it is possible that this
stone can help to alleviate or lessen the Earth changes that are inevitable
unless we change. This rare and unique Jade was discovered in a place
that may have the oldest formation of minerals known to man kind.
It comes from an area that possibly pre-dates the formation of the Rocky
Mountains or any current known mountain range. It is of primordial
origin, going back to the original formation of planet Earth. The
Ancient Indigenous, recognizing the spiritual power of this place, used
as a sacred ceremonial site. There are still remnants of Teepee Circles
that can still be seen in this area today. This stone is truly a
blessing and a gift from the Divine Source. In these times and in
these days, it is the tool that those of the light have been seeking.
The tribe it was associated with was Naphtali which means "obtained by wrestling with God" and Naphtali was symbolised as the running deer, set free by God and blessed. Within Judaic law and also early Egyptian lore, Jasper means "to polish", prevailing power, and strength - polish in itself means to make smooth or glossy by friction. Its easy to see its association with Naphtali which is one who wrestles or fights against the flesh.
The analogy with Naphtali is often made with Jacob who wrestled with God but when God set him free his name was changed to Israel - meaning receiving a new nature. In terms of other associations with Imperial Jasper - it is said to enable you to with with heavy negativity. It is also believed to stabilise emotions. Its said by some to provide protection (as all Jasper does), reduce fears and insecurities.
It is said that what makes green jasper green (and distinct from say red jasper) is that it comes from quartz deposits in decaying trees - whether it is true or not, thats the assumption the original role of Jasper came from. So its seen to represent the decaying tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and the formation of our identity because of that tree - and the shift to identifying ourselves instead with God. As such it represents the journey of breaking the bonds with our purely earthly existance - it personifies the journey from rotting wood to the face of God - we are born in flesh and end in spirit. And Imperial Jasper is seen to personify that journey. The forgetting of what we have been before and the revealing of who we are as spiritual beings - the suffering of tribulation in this present world and the end of suffering by living from a soul state.
Often we view of experience our lives in a way that is divided into the mundane and the spiritual. The idea that there is a sacred part of life and a secular one causes problems from the beginning because it makes unity and wholeness impossible. It creates fragmentation that permeates all facets of our being - body, mind, heart, spirit - all are divided between the world around us and our spiritual path.
Our day to day life becomes one of "wrestling with God" to try and get our lives to have some resemblance to what we know life can. What Imperial Jasper tells us is that there is another possibility, a place where there is no division between the secular and the sacred - the material and the physical. There is a place where we can see the divinity in everything we do and perceive the ordinariness of the unfolding spiritual path. Where every moment is a chance for exercising ourselves spiritually, of reaching further into our truth and integrating it more fully into here. Then we are able to dissolve the illusion of seperation which keeps us struggling to find ways to integrate something that is already integrated in reality.
Imperial Jasper reminds us that the only conflict that exists between our bodies and spirits is our belief that one exists. In truth they are reflections of one another and removing the illusion of seperation allows them to be such. This whole process allows us to integrate our physical body into our spiritual growth path - which if we fail to do results in ungroundedness and unavailability of energy. So it does have application as a grounder. It also stabilises emotions because it helps to integrate the bodies through dissolving the sense that they are seperate. And it does reduce fears and insecurities because it enables us to see more fully why we are doing certain things and how they fit in with the spiritual path - no longer wrestling with God but set free like the deer. Numerology- Jade vibrates to the number 2, partnerships, compassion, and cooperation.
Gemological Properties-
Jadeite is one of two minerals commonly knows as Jade, the other is Nephrite.
It is from the monoclinic crystal system and offers a chemical composition
of NaALSi2O6. Jade is often seen cut as cabochons, beads, and carvings.
The refractive index is 1.666 and the specific gravity is 3.34. Jadeite
is one of the stones which can be commonly confused with stones that offer
a similar appearance. If you are not sure if your stone is Jade,
have it tested by a certified gemologist such as myself. It is also
one of the stones that is commonly enhanced; dying and heating.
Jadeite is found all over
the world, of course China, Japan are two of the most important sources,
however, it is also found in Canada and Burma.
Numerology- Jet vibrates to the number 8. This number is about personal power and abundance. Abundance can be anything you wish it to be.
Gemological Properties-
Jet is an organic mineral; it is a compact, ornamental form of lignite
coal; a chemical composition of primarily carbon, with some hydrogen and
oxygen (a hydrocarbon). The color is very dark brown to black.
It is commonly seen cut into cabochons and beads, sometimes you see it
in buttons and carvings. The refractive index is 1.66, the specific
gravity is very light at 1.32. The hardness is 2.5-4, very soft.
The major source of Jet is from Whitby, England, but is also found in Canada,
France, Germany, Spain and in the USA.
